What Is the Invisalign Process?
Your journey to a more aligned smile begins with a consultation, during which we will evaluate your orthodontic needs and capture digital scans to create your custom treatment plan. You'll even see a preview of your new, improved smile.
During a follow-up visit, you will receive your custom aligners. Each set of aligners is engineered to move your teeth step by step with precision until they reach their ideal position. You will wear your aligner trays for 20 to 22 hours a day, only taking them out to eat, brush, and floss. Depending on your specific needs, you'll swap your aligners for the next in the series every 1–2 weeks to guide your teeth into alignment. We will see you periodically to track your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.
At the end of your treatment, we’ll provide custom retainers to maintain your new smile. Remember—retention is just as important as treatment. Otherwise, your teeth are at risk of shifting back to their original positions.
